This is of course about the self-employed life, how you can make it easier, what you should think about and which tools you can best use. But you shouldn't forget one thing, and that is yourself. As an entrepreneur, you also deserve your relaxation to be able to keep going and recharge yourself. That's why we have a few interesting books and gadgets here that we think can help you with this.
Reading a good book can distract you and give you new insights
Especially if it is a good book with content, aimed at business. Generating more than just profit, but also a higher goal that focuses on all stakeholders. What makes it interesting is that everyone can get something out of this to a greater or lesser extent and use it for themselves. Read for yourself!
Some distraction on TV with your own films, photos or music
That's what the AppleTV can do for you on your own screen. It is already a great product for watching movies, listening to music and sharing your photos. Later in the year, or perhaps in the Netherlands next year, many more new films, series and other content are coming. Then it really becomes fun.
Oh yes, you can also use it as a basis for your Apple Home Kit automation. Nice extra!
Watering plants is something you wouldn't do yourself, would you?
That's what you have a Smart Device for! The Eve Aqua you can program to turn on the outside tap every day so that when you are on holiday, your plants still have enough to drink. Or if you see that it is raining like crazy at home while you are enjoying the sun, you can easily turn it off from your mobile.
BBQing is of course the ultimate summer relaxation with friends and family
What do you need? A good BBQ of course coal fired, but gas is also possible, charcoal and BBQ tongs. Then you have to arrange the matches and the meat yourself, isn't that doable?
Write down your thoughts.
Not to publish a book or let others read it, but just for yourself. In a nice notebook. Wonderfully soothing to organize your thoughts, but you can also actively use it for your conversation notes. We both do it.
Imagine a holiday, take your favorite notebook and a good pen, order your perfect coffee (preferably in Italy of course) and write whatever comes to mind. Describe the people you see, your environment, or the problems you encounter at work. Take your time, order another coffee. You will see that this will relieve you.
